I don' t know if this is true. What I know is that they have started recording in Chess Studios and finished 'Satisfaction' 2 days later in the RCA Studios. Maybe this is a first demo which became the final song 2 days later.
It could be the 1st version of Satisfaction recorded in Chess as "Rolling on" said. This version is known from "Shindig!" TV show 1965. It´s very similar but what confused me is harmonica solo...there´s no harm solo in this version...
This Satisfaction is on the 'Beat Beat at the Beeb' set & the date there is Aug 30 1965, possibly the broadcast day as Martin Elliot has the recording day in the BBC studios as Aug 20, so nothing to do with Chess outtakes. Thought I recognised that tambourine...
