Haven't heard it but I don't believe they have a new source for Melbourne. They probably just remastered it a little like Empire Pool 73.

I downloaded "The Lost Sessions" Vol. 1+2 from somewhere, they are excellent but nothing new.

I did some more research on Temperature Rising.

Apparently this SOD version is the first one that runs at the correct speed.

I find it hard to believe that SODD found a better tape, or that they have done some nice work with the speed problems.
Temperature Rising (Red Hot label) was on Dime some months ago, uploaded by Watchit, in which he had reduced the speed problems in a better way than VGP did with "Melbourne All You Can Eat". Maybe SODD copied that one ? If they did, I'll bet the sound is ruined by the SODD EQ treatment - so it's better to get the Dime torrent.

"Sweet Black ANgel" from Empress Valley is great sounding - but you don't need it, if you've got Hillside Blues - it's basically the same quality.

Hello!

Concerning the Febr. 17th show, the VGP runs much faster than the SODD release, both seem to stem from the same source; I will check the Febr. 18th show soon!

By the way JMARKO, did you ever get the e-mail I sent you about a month ago about the Sept. 8th, 73 show??

Hello again!

The SODD Bonus Cd-R and the VGP release from Febr. 18th seem to run at the same speed, one thing that strikes me at first listening is the difference in the crowd noise between "Rocks Off" and "Gimme Shelter"
