Alternative to NeroVision Express 3

For a long time, I have been creating really good DVDs with menus and all the bells and whistles using NeroVision Express 3. That's when I was running on XP. Now I'm running Vista, and NVE3 isn't compatible with it. So I had to go to NV5 for Vista compatibility. You guessed it - NV5 is total crap compared with NVE3. As far as I'm concerned, it's fit for the garbage bin. It has taken away so much good stuff that was in NVE3, and I'm really p*ssed off with it, so much so that I want to find a good close alternative to NVE3 that runs on Vista, and, of course, is free if possible. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Two programs that I use a lot are TmpGenc DVD Creator from [tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com] and Movavi from [movavi.com]

As far as I am aware both are Vista compatible.
