The version of "You're Gonna Miss Me", sounds like the Who's "I Cant Explain". I sense the same riff or chord progression underlying the song.

That Who - 13th Floor Elevators might be a result of a good ear.
Since I Cant Explain was released the year before.

Nevertheless, I hear them as two mutually independent songs.

I like the song "You're Gonna Miss Me". It works great in the opening scene of "High Fidelity".

Not to be too hard on the Who (people over at Tell Me
side know this thing I have with Daltrey); but I Cant Explain
is a good song but no more for me.

You're Gonna Miss Me is an epic classic. Crown of garage creation.
I want to hear much much more Roky, havent hear much, to be perfecly honest.
