Same old same old, not a complete show -- the JJF is edited in (poorly) from another source and the Satisfaction is lifted from Still Life.

Quality of the sound changes significantly after Start Me Up, JJF is faded in and has the first part of the first verse missing. Satisfaction is identical to the Still Life version - again, the mix and character of the sound is completely different to the previous songs from the Phoenix tape.

I just checked it because when this show first came out it had some edits. This version says it's better - but it isn't.

Maybe you have overlooked the FREE aspect of this great recording.

I don't even know if you are right about those songs (I think ErikSnow would know)

So if it's FREE that excuses it from being incorrect or misleading??

I wasn't even addressing my comments to you. The show is adverstised as being complete and free of the edits from the earlier releases, and it isn't. THAT is a FACT. I'm just pointing things out for others so they know what they are getting. But I guess you are too insecure to see that?

Sorry if I haven't bowed to kiss your ass for posting stuff. Is that why you are doing it? To help swell your ego a bit more? If it's such a fuc*&ng thankless burden for you maybe you should stop doing it.

And I think I've been collecting long enough not to go crying to ErikSnow for confirmation. I've owned this show since 2000 when it came out on the 4CD "Ride Like The Wind"

I don't know Erik personally, and I'm not criticizing him one bit. Unlike you, I can appreciate someone who tries to help set the record straight and inform people of what they are actually getting. And that doesn't have anything to do with your 'self-less' generosity of posting the thing in the first place.

Just tired of the bullsh*T egos like you on this forum. It's OK if you made a mistake, or if you weren't sure or are unaware if the comments/claims of the show you're posting are true or not, but you don't have to get all huffy if someone besides your binkie Erik doesn't give his ironclad confirmation.

Relax Munich, I and several others on here have forgotten more than you'll ever know when it come to this subject. Now go check yourself in the mirror so you can be appreciated as much as you think you should be.

Actually, it's not OK if you do this -- because it shows that you don't even know what the hell you are posting in the first place. Which leads me to beleive you're more concerned with everyone knowing just how much you post, and how 'self-less' you are as opposed to what you are actually sharing.

I'm not thinking you should stop posting, just back the fu*k off of people who MIGHT in some STRANGE screwup in the universe actually know SOMETHING about what the hell you are posting-- besides ErikSnow of course.

Thanks JMARKO... I think it is great when these shows are posted, but if there are things that should be pointed out to us, then that is good too.. and necessary for any dedicated collector to know exactly what they are getting.

Listen up:

Everything that's posted here is free and takes the poster a long time to provide the tracks.

Like many others, I've also posted many times in the past so I know what I'm talking about.

As to the quality, well that can be confirmed from other websites that review all the available boots. Do the research if you wish to find the best version of a particular concert.

If you don't want it, don't download it. Enough said.

I appreciate the effort and if isn't perfect, well its free and that beats the hell out of buying boots.
