Disc 1 audio files are currently posted in: alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.m

I don't know how to post them here, but if some kind soul would download them and post them here they would probably make a lot of friends!

Ross, It is really easy to upload to something like gigasize or megaupload.

Just put all the files in a .rar file

Sign up at Gigasize or Megaupload

Go to the upload tab

Browse for upload

Select your .rar file

Click Upload

Or you could do it song by song

Can you post a link to your group, please?

I downloaded some of the songs now usig Pan (I'm on Linux) and it shows me the majority of the Austin Disc as incomplete songs. And indeed, only 4 seem to be complete - the others can be played and sound great, but are missing a minute in between! It also shows them as incomplete on my newsreader. Now I dunno if this is because I'm doing something wrong?

Anyway, Ross - thanks for uploading very much. I'll try and upload the ones I fetched from the newsgroup to yousendit or something later today!

Thx for the post, all the sites have d/l limits, I believe Rapid is best as you only have to wait for an hour or so, some of the others you have to wait a day before you can d/l more

Firstly- I respect 'IOR&R's rules, but what a GREAT, GREAT shame you had to remove these links (especially as I only managed to get the first half! LOL).
But- I know we all have to live by the rules.
An official release though?. I asked in HMV (I'm in the UK) & they have release schedules up to 3 Months in advance & this set isn't even on a release schedule here :-(
