Could someone please recommend a program for extracting .RAR files.

I've tried WinRAR and AlphaZIP but haven't had any luck with them.

Thanks very much!

Winrar must be the best software for extract .rar and also .zip files. Perhaps you need a recent version. Or perhaps the problems are with one file; post it here and let´s try to see what happens. I use 3.30 version and never have problems for extract.

OK, thanks very much...I'm using the 3.7 beta demo version of WinRAR; maybe I'll spring the bucks for the real deal.

Also, like someone mentioned it might have been the file itself being problematic.

Thanks for all the good advice!

I am lost on the Windows side of things, but on the Apple side of things, I use Stuffit Expander (which is free) to extract RAR files.
