ISO tracklisting or artwork for Rotterdam Rehearsals 75 (4 cds)
Posted by: daniel t ()

Hi, everyone

I'd be greatly thankful if someone could provide the tracklisting for the 4-cd set of Rotterdam Rehearsals '75?

or

An artwork that shows the tracklisting for this 4-cd set?

The only artwork I've found (on ilovemickjagger.com) has no tracklisting.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Daniel ('Wattswood' on Shidoobee)

The only info I have is from a traders list

"REHEARSALS IN ROTTERDAM
De Doelen Concert & Congress Centre, Jan 22-Feb9 1975. 4cd 82 trax"

No info as to label tho.

The only one I've got is the VGP 016 Can you Hear the Music

Do you have a link to the scans @ ilovemickjagger, there's heaps of them there & I always find it slow trawling thru what she's got

I don't have the 4cd set, but the VGP-016 cd 'Can You Hear the Music' is not good. It sounds as if it was recorded via a mic placed next to a speaker, you can hear background noise, the recorder talking, wow & flutter, speed fluctuations, trax are faded in & out.

Looking @ the cover for the 2nd version, which is also numbered 016, Can You Hear the Mobile, I notice there are more trax, 21 as opposed to 13 for the first issue. Don't know about the quality tho, the traders' list I have for the 4cd set states 'Great sessions with several great guitarists but unfortunately in fair/average quality only', which tallies with the single cd I've got.

Ah
I posted this version yet , take a look at my files...
But why you say they are from 1975 , this version are rehearsals from 1973

So Daniel t can you shine a light on this?

I have the 2 CD version from VGP "Can You Hear The Mobile" and it's just as bad as the 1 CD version "Can You Hear The Music". Only more tracks but same bad quality.
I would also like to know what is on this 4 CD set.

Can You Hear The Mobile is from 1973 !!! not from 1975 !
The best of the 1975 Rotterm sessions was released on The Lost Rotterdam Tapes from Pignose Records on 2CD

Well, if someone who is able to share it could put it on Dime or RO in lossless format. That would be great!

I have the set. It is a real excercise for you ears. meaning it is really rough to listen too. You really aren't missing much.

Now, speaking of 75, once a very long time ago I had a list from a tape trader (may have been Bob Newbury) that had 1975 tour rehearsals in fair-poor quality. It claimed it was from the TOTA tour rehearsals. It sparked my interest back then, but I was more interested in 72 shows at the time. Has anyone ever seen this floating around?
