After a listen, I'd say it's a good version, but I still prefer the stones w/ MT's amazing guitar work.

Agree with you on that, but I think Johnny Winter have done some pretty amazing versions of ST live. I think this one from San Diego 1974 says it all: [www.sendspace.com].

no I have not. been curious though because lots of blogs have been posting his work (boots or officials I'm not sure) Sounds like he's sort of hard blues maybe not too far from robin trower. what's he like?
