OT: Grateful Dead - Winterland 1972-02-01

Here you go No Expectations:

Complete show in one rar-file [www.sendspace.com]

Not included in the rar-file:

I joined track 22-23-24 since these tracks were played as medley. [www.sendspace.com] It's pretty rough, but it's the best I can do at the moment

Enjoy

Sorry don't know where the art work came from. It's definitely not the artwork corresponding with this show.

I'll try and locate the right artwork

Tremendous stuff. Attended many, many a Winterland show. Nothing like the Dead at Post & Steiner. Spent many an afternoon partying on the sidewalk waiting for the doors to open!

Yeah that's understandable listening to these boots.

I wish that I just once had had the chance to experience the Dead live, but I was only 14 when Jerry passed away, and at that time I wasn't aware of their music and how great they were.

Listening now....just the sound of "Uncle Bobo" introducing the band. Damn good times!

Can anyone bust these out as individual tracks. Much appreciated.

I could do it, but I don't have much time. So I might not be able to post the entire show as separate tracks today.

Here's the first 4 tracks...

1. [www.sendspace.com]

2. [www.sendspace.com]

3. [www.sendspace.com]

4. [www.sendspace.com]

Thanks Sohoe for fast response. Sounds like a very good show so far. Surprisingly the sound is very good considering that it is posted at only 64KBs.
The files download quick. Did you compress it 64KBs when posting or was that that what you received it as?

Thanks again much appreciated. No Expections is well aware of my fondness for Sugaree. Truckin as an opener followed by Sugaree was a treat.

To The Sicilian:

I didn't compress the files. The 64Kbs was the bitrate I downloaded in.

I posted another Dead boot here [www.iorr.org] ...if you want this one too with tracks posted individually, just let me know.

The bitrate is the same, and same soundquality as the one in this post.

Both boots came from this site [www.archive.org] shows are downloadable and some only streaming

Yeah I'm aware of that site. Do you know if it's possible to download the Stream-Only shows?

Great. Could post a 'manual' on how to do here

All I did was to

A - select stream only shows
B - select a show
C - when that page comes up , you'll see a gray box from which you can choose
a tune
D - choose a tune
E - right click on the tune
F - Download the tune
G - My choices go into musicmatch jukebox

Very simple to do , e mail me if you have a problem
