Than you very much Vancouver for this great post! I think the 1969 tour is the best Stones Tour ever. Nice to hear "Ya Yas" without the overdubs, and the complete SFTD.

Not a criticism, just question: a couple of tracks have some static in them, that repeats in regular intervals (kind of like my original vinyl of YaYa's which saw a few too many beers spilled on it during college). Are some taken from vinyl boots and then digitized?
I am very impressed with the sound quality. Much cleaner than any other '69 stuff I have heard.

I have listened to this ten times over. They should have released these versions, commercially. More raw, more powerful, more STONES.
Prodigal Son is outstanding. My dream Stones show is for them to do a tour of 3,000 seat theatres, playing semi-acoustic, and playing roots - blues. Stuff like Prodigal Son, Sweet Black Angel, Heart of Stone, I Got The Blues....cover songs of things that influenced them...and some of their more current bluesy stuff like Back of My Hand (which disappeared quickly on the last tour, kind of like Tops in 1981).
It'll never happen, but I can dream.
