Here , in Mexico , if you buy a telephone , you get 1 modem for free.
Always , it doesnt cost so much for me , it costs like 25 usd
There are a lot of modems of high speed connection in my country.

uh, to tell the truth, not really.

but i want to say that the number of bootlegs one can have have no sense.

the only important thing is pleasure in listening to music.

when i was a young rolling stones fan, i ordered my first bootlegs (that was vinyl) at the age of 20 from the usa.

after, say, 50 bootlegs, it's was all over.

each new record is just another record.

collecting is one thing.

pleasure is another thing.

hard to explain.

monkeyman, never said south america is that poor...I've been to Argentina last year....but how many people are able to connect to the internet in Mexico ? 90% of the population ?...hell no

Haristone, collecting and pleasure can be done at once...

if you have too much records, you don't have time to listen to them.
i have records i never listen to. just "if i want to listen, the record is on the shelf".

after a few thousand records i stopped collecting, and now i started listening back to music instead of collecting records. and also listening to other bands and artists.

stones are fantastic. but stones are not everything.

they are my favorite band, but not the only band/artist i'm listening to.

believe me or not. stones are great, but stones are not everything.

and don't count your records. stay human.

best wishes.

DirtyWors, I understand your point, with full respect about it, I only was trying to explain there are many different realities for people in the forum, something you consider correct, may be it isn't for another, example this rule "if you can get a record in the store you can't post a link to download here.."

In some countries you can buy in stores almost everything was surfaced sometime, but in others like argentina you can get only the officially released material, nothing about boots, or similar things..

Here when trading with abroad people, the mail company people many times make "disappear" the packs you receive..with magazines, books or cds, that they sell to small stores; so this increase the cost for you to trade..

I was buying official records of RS from the moment I first listen them, 1967, to aprox 1990..working all my life far from home or expatriated, I never could get boots, (I even didnt know about it) but whith internet, a new world of music appear to me, emule, iorr, utorrent, etc helped me to know, and now I can enjoy listening unnofficial releases of the Stones and Jimmy Hendrix, my two main sources of pleasure.
Sorry I didnt know you where visiting my country, to offer you hospitality..

i agree with that.

i was talking about my own experience.
in the 80's, collecting led me to madness (that's a joke). spending too much time chasing records and tapes, and not enough time for listening.
at the beggining of the 90's, i stopped bying every circulating bootleg.
i stopped trading tapes and tapes and tapes.

Pancho, Argentina is the wrong example. I've been to Argentina last year, and found some original boots in several CD stores in Buenos Aires.
