i don't like flac, shn, ape, wav files. in DC++ users sharing these files are very rare. if you really want this heavy files you cant always convert mp3 to FLAC and can be sure that you will never hear the different between mp3 and FLAC without any spectrum analiser smiling smiley

Alas, I'm a musician and at a certain bitrate things start to sound very unmusical to my ears. High bitrate mp3 are still okay (and I probably won't hear a difference without comparing it with the losslessformat. Another problem with mp3 is that it's unsuitable for remastering/speedcorrecting etc. Anyway thanx for sharing and yer reply.

Just randomly listened to a few tracks. Lousy quality indeed (no complaint, Kream warned us in advance). Does anybody know if a decent recording/transfer from lowgen tape exists?

Shame about the quality....I was at one of the two shows (can't remember which one)....the audience boo'ed Etta James (opening act)...she was pretty upset.

the shoot 'em dead, brainbell jangler!
