Hi bikerboot,

Is nice to see your first post here but you can delete it right now because in this page the ONE most IMPRTANT rule is "nothing official stuff in this site"!! If you not delete this post maybe the producers or records companies of the Stones will close this GREAT web, so if you want to share some official releases do it in a private e-mail, ok?

Thank you,

Argentino

This is NOT an official release.

Unless you mean that it is "sticky fingers".

But I will delete it if it causes problems. I'll wait a few hours. Let me know.

What disc company is this??
I think it is always official released material with the same artworks and songs.
You should delete it and post some different stuff like SF demos and out takes.
This is my recommendation.
Always , i appreciate your effort

Sorry bikerboot, but it is a remastering of the official LP, as you can see
here in small letters it belongs to ABKO..:

thanks for your effort!

Yo !

I'm sorry but all these versions are non officials since they are made by them , with no agrement of the rights owners , and they are not saled but distributed as boots !!

Here is the text found on their site : ABOUT TOUP

Two Of Us Productions remixes
Beatles albums into 5.1 DTS
digital surround sound, doing
it themselves because Apple
Corpse doesn't care about the
crappy quality of their current
Beatles products.

We do not sell or distribute or
trade any of TOUP's discs, but
you should be able to find them
in the trading circles. This site
is for information and research
purposes only.

This text applies for the Beatles but is also truth for others bands !

The question is about quality !! Since their method is extraction of multi chanels from a STEREO source !!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a little doubtfull about the result but as you have one copy tell us more precisely your impression of 5.1 ! Because the best result is from the multitrack tapes .

I have many of the "after-market" made 5.1 mixes of Led Zeppelin, CCR,black sabbath, + more. The TOUP productions are, I believe, first rate. These guys really did a great job with the source material. You just gotta hear it, i guess. I have The official factory Allman Bros. Filmore album DTS remixed from an original Quad source and this SF release is equal in every way. My opinion of course. I would also say it compares favourably to the factory DTS version of FM rumours dvd. The rear channels are used more effectively by TOUP. That being said, and as impressed as I am with the job done by TOUP, it doesn't hold a candle to the SACD of Layla ( the 5.1 mix). But of all the DTS boot's & store bought 5.1 dvd's & sacd's that I have , layla is the best sounding. period. To bad this didn't catch on. Sorry for the long post, but I was impressed with the SF 5.1 mix. I guess I can still e-mail the addy, no?

Since it's a boot , definitly Yes !!!!!

There are some sacd or dvd-audio in 5.1 really well done from original multitrack
tapes , but for the stones ( DECCA period ) only sacd in stereo !!!!! they missed the story !!!
I recommended Beggars banquet with a superb sound .

Some of brillants sacd or dvd-audio : Ziggy Stardust DAVID BOWIE
Tumbleweed Connection ELTON JOHN
Dark Side of the Moon PINK FLOYD
Yoshimi Battles ... THE FLAMING LIPS
Really superb !!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately for the Allman Brothers Band the FILLMORE EAST was made with the original sound and poor 5.1 mixing ( to my taste ) but not with the sound of the remix digital tapes made by the producteur himself Tom DOWD !!
