Incidently, this concert was available on VHS back in 1994, where it was sold at the concert venue for a limited time. I suspect that the Vinyl Gang boot was taken from the VHS tape since there are a number of tiny hickups in the CDR recording.

The VHS featured the incomplete concert in exellent soundquality. The tiny hicups that these files suffer from are digital flaws most probably not stemming from the original source.

The tiny dropouts and flaws are unique to DISC 1 only. The problems are on every track on DISC 1. The two worst occasions are a very bad dropout on Shattered and a few second stretch on Wild Horses. The other tracks on DISC 1 have numerous small flaws. It would appear that your DISC 1 is seriously damaged throughout.

There are no noticeable dropouts on DISC 2.


Can you confirm that your copy of DISC 1 has the same problems ??????????

Thanks for the confirmation. I did manage to somewhat repair the flaw in Shattered by editing out the worst blip in that song.

As for the Bigger Bang tour, I chose Hampden Park, Saitama and Copa entire concerts as a good representation of the 2006 tour.

Thank you kindly for sharing this, Urban Steel. Could you relay whether or not these new files are sourced from the same discs that Axl (see above) stated were lossy?
