It was the other way around for me. I thought everyone started uploading ISO images - lol.
so to answer coldturkey's Q:
You don't open ISO images - you burn them as ISO direct to disc.
everything will be in working order on the disc.

You don't open ISO images - you burn them as ISO direct to disc.
everything will be in working order on the disc.

just to clarify - I can only open stright onto a disc? Using something like Nero to burn? is that right?
sorry but I am a wally when it comes to more than simple computer procedures

Yes, you burn only the ISO file to disc.
in Nero (not Nero Express) you choose CD-Rom (ISO) --> open -- browse to that downloaded Iso file --> burn.

Yes, you burn only the ISO file to disc.
in Nero (not Nero Express) you choose CD-Rom (ISO) --> open -- browse to that downloaded Iso file --> burn.
