does anybody know if this is the actual set list for this show? The version I have has the songs rearranged to follow the normal 1972 tour setlist and I have read information on different sites stating that both versions have the correct setlist.....

My copy has the tracks in the order listed above.

right.........my copy has them listed with "bitch" second and "rocks off" third and so forth......more like the usual 1972 setlist......Nico Zentgraf's site also lists the setlist as it is on your copy of the show........the reason I ask is because if indeed mine has the wrong running order, I want to change it....

I think the setlist-order written above is incorrect.
Idol Mind Productions gave out that 2cd in 1993 ("Vancouver 72"), and they mixed the song-order up for some reason.
I think Bitch belong as song number 4 though. It's the middle part of the show that is incorrect.

Killer show! Tied with Philly 72 as the best show from '72. It's so wonderfully sloppy that it would have been purrrfect had Black Sabbath or Cactus or Camel opened for them.

....but Bye Bye Johhny seems not to be working.

also about the strange setlist, it appears that since this was the first show of the Exile tour, they had not yet got a steady set and were experimenting to see what fit where, what songs to keep....

as seen here:

from www.frayed.org

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DATE: 6/3/72
Venue: Vancouver
Setlist:
Brown Sugar
Rocks Off (1st time played live)
Gimme Shelter
Bitch
Tumbling Dice (1st time played live)
Happy (1st time played live)
Honky Tonk Women
Loving Cup
Torn And Frayed (1st time played live)
Sweet Virginia (1st time played live)
You Can't Always Get What You Want
Ventilator Blues (1st time played live)
Midnight Rambler
All Down The Line (1st time played live)
Bye Bye Johnny
Rip This Joint (1st time played live)
Jumping Jack Flash
Street Fighting Man

so I guess the setlist is almost right

yeah I agree that the setlist is prolly pretty accurate. Some dumbass resequenced the one I have (which is actually an original) to make it closer to the regular '72 tour setlist. They usually do that......the first show or first few shows of a tour will have a different running order and a few different songs than the rest of the tour. I've heard they did "Wild Horses" and "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" at early dates on the 1971 Tour of England although I don't think there are any tapes of there performances to verify that. But the point is that these songs were dropped, as was "Torn and Frayed" and "Ventilator Blues" in '72 and "Loving Cup" was dropped a few shows later. They did the same thing with some Goat's Head Soup songs on the '73 European Tour......

Y'all are most welcome. As far as the tracklisting/setlist goes, I'm not sure either but this was the first show of the '72 tour and I'm sure the boys were "working" the setlist to get it to the more common ones, as seen later in the tour. Then again, who knows? The guys who put the CD together could have doctored it. Not sure...still a great show.

Hello Yann!
Is there any chance you can repost All Down The Line,Bye Bye Johnny, Rip This Joint, Jumping Jack Flash and Street Fighting Man (the last 5 tracks) from CD2? I was a bit late to get a piece of this. Thank you...
