HEllo all,
I should probably post this on Tell Me but it;s like an asylum over there. You all need to get Last Man Standing. JLL is great. If you don;t know, it's JLL and guests. Merle, George Jones, Willie, Robbie Robertson. He covers Evening Gown with Mick and MJ actually sounds good! He doesn;t do that silly trembly voice thing! Got his country voice back. He also covers HTW with Kid Rock and Jimmy Page tears it up on Rock and Roll. The great thing about this disc is that on the songs, it's 90% JLL and 10% guest.

Does anyone know if there are outtakes of this yet? If so, please post them. If you don;t have this disc yet..GET IT!

P.S. have you guys seen the Volkswagon commercial with Slash yet? I mean....Slash? Volkswagon? Slash used to be cool........no more! What's next? Are they gonna dig up John Lennon and have him sell mutual funds?

Tigerman...I was speaking with a friend last night about Evening Gown and we decided that if Mick sang in his current styling with all that trembling crap that he does now, that Jerry Lee would have walked over and punched him in the mouth!

Baboon. Sorry about the spelling. Yea..Slash. I mean, imagine Slash riding around in a Jetta or a Bug!

Last Man Standing is to me, the release of 2006.

The more i listen to Twilight, the more I love it. Yea...Hadacohl Blues is great. Buddy Guy refuses to age.

I like the end of Hadacohl Blues "Why do they call it Hadacohl?"

"They "Hadacohl" it something!

Wasn't Hank Sr. sponsored by HAdacohl?

"That Kind of Fool" features the best Keith vocal I've heard in a long time. What a brilliant record. The Killer sounds like he's 30, not 70. Thanks for the preview link, tigerman.

US customers if you can, buy it at Walmart and inside will be a card instructing you how to download an additional song from their site for free, Bright LIghts Big City which is as good as anything on the cd as well.

the Devil aside.

There are 4 other tracks that are from Walmart and Best Buy and others. How do we get these songs without shopping at "the devil"

well i dont' think best buy is the devil but i would stay away from walmart....

anyways walmart is really overrated..their cd section blows chowder.... very poor selection...

And Walmart only sells edited stuff. Chunky chowdah!

IMHO, all large corporations are built so fat white guys and get rich and play golf while the working man slaves 60 hours a week for a mere pittance. So " The Man" can oppress the little guy. (Did anyone see Undercover Brother? That movie makes it all very clear!)

I say this as 90% of my customers are fat white guys that golf! smiling smiley
