this is a very good polish site. here you can get some applications for unpack RAR and ZIP files. all are FREEWARE it's mean you cann't pay for them. more from than is in english language. links to downloading are in english.look for in desription word RAR and try it. good luck!

7-Zip 4.32, available on kream's Polish site, is all that you need to open or create RAR & ZIP archives, and is a small, free download.

I'm not very computer literate so can someone tell me what RAR is? I've seen videos that are supposed to be Windows Media but they end with RAR and I can't open them on my computer, or else the audio will play but the video won't.

RAR this is archive. something like a pack. mp3 or another files are inside. those applications unpack that archive. that's all.

Rar and Zip are "compression" or "archive" files. They act like a trash compactor for files. They squeeze them into a small tight packages that are good for storage or sending.
As a rule of thumb :
Rar is for video, movies etc.
Zip is for data
