Terrifying 12" mix
and Beast of Burden Dub Mix.
They are all excellent Studio Quailty except Beast which is a little rough.

The Beast of Burden dub mix is Black Uhuru. Keith plays on it. You can find the info on Nico's site. Don't mistake this for a lost Stones track.

Do you happen to know if there's more in this series than just the "Dance'n'shuffle" CD ???
On the cover it says that this is CD2 (Maxi 2) of a series of 6 CD's with remixes.
But I've actually never seen the other ones nor the covers of them. Do they exist? And if so, what's their names and what's on it ?

Any information on this subject is highly appreciated.

The Cd I have on the back states that 'this is one of six containing all the extended dance mixes...' From 1978 onwards.


I picked this up at Bleecker Street Records in NYC, I haven't seen any more of them. I kinda like this stuff, sometimes the remixes are pretty good ala Dance pt. 2 and Undercover. If anybody has any more please post,
I always get a dirty feeling walking out of a record store after paying 50$ for a bootleg. Where does the money go? For all I know it could be funding...

I'll try it again. Maybe I'm just not sure how to convert it properly.....

It's a RAR compressed file, you need to google win/rar and dl the patch to uncompress it.
It's quick and very easy. RAR is a very common method of compression.

7-Zip is freeware and also works fine.

Yes, at least most tracks on them... Many were available only on vinyl though.

The Versions are, the CDs aren't ;-)
And I didn't find the Beast of Burden Version on any 12inch yet. The Winning Ugly N.Y. Mix is quite rare, too, since the 12inch was only released in Canada and goes along for 100 $ now or more. If you would post any of these 6 CDs, it would be greatly appreciated.

Demonoid is the place for this sort of stuff, particularly in the "yes it's officially released, but out of print/difficult to obtain" category.

It would be so easy to release all of their dance mixes & non-album live recordings, 5-6 CD box set should do it, we'd all buy it here, no ABKCO to deal with..
