Wild Horses version question

Can somebody tell me more about this version of Wild Horses? It's a bonus track on a VGP release but not listed on the cover. It's different to the "Stripped" version. Sometimes I think it's not even Mick singing, it sounds a bit strange sometimes. But I don't know. Any ideas?

I thought this might have been a cleaned up version (crowd noise removed - I'm sure that's clapping at the very start) from one of the club shows - Paradiso 26th, Paradiso 27th or Paris Olympia 3rd July but I can't match it. As you say there are some vocal sounds that 'don't' sound like Mick - take the line at the start "Is easy to do" and the way the singer pronounces the word "slide".

What VGP release is it from?

"Ich moechte euch bis nach Koeln hoeren" (VGP-216) at the end of disc 2 and not listed on the cover.

well here's one review

"ICH MÖCHTE EUCH BIS NACH KÖLN HÖREN"/2 CD/VGP-216/Live at
Rheinstadion,Düsseldorf,Germany,980624 with Love is strong as bonus from
Helsinki Olympic Stadium,8980805 AND after that a hidden outtake of Wild
Horses from the Toshiba Sessions

Another review I found also says it's an outtake from the 95 Toshiba sessions - maybe they're just lazily quoting packaging details - naw... don't think it's Mick!

VGP deserves a kick in the gutter for passing this of as "Mick". It's so definately NOT Mick.
It's actually a pain to listen to, because the singer (and the band) try SO hard to sound like RS.
