Any Who fans?

Yes, I know it's a Stones forum. But I have benefited from everyone's generosity on here and been able to check out some great (and not so great) bootlegs of the Stones.

I'm new to posting so I hope this works, but here is The Real Me by the Who, live from Madison Square Garden in NY. I could post the rest of this mid 90s Quadrophenia show if there is any interest. Billy idol and Gary Glitter (before he decided to move to Vietnam) appear elsewhere in the recording.

Yeah, you have found out a Who fan (and a Rs fan too, of course!!!).

I was at the Who concert in Ulm (germany) last July and it was terrific (Pete in great, great shape!!!).

So, any Who gig posting (don't matter what tour) will be welcome!!!

Long live rock!!!

I'll post the entire show later today.

How is the band without Entwistle? I'm debating whether or not to travel to see them on this tour. I hear they have a new CD coming out, and are actually going to play new material, unlike the Stones are doing (which is too bad because ABB is a decent CD).

I was an hardcore Stonesfan for many years but to be honest (dear Stonesfans: It hurts me to do this public confession...) the Who live in concert is much better than Stones-on-routine.

Oh, well, the ox is the ox but Palladino is doing a very good work on bass...Zak is the best you can find after Moonie...Pete is fabulous with a new eager to play (a lot of solos...) and Roger at his best (even if he can't easily reach anymore the high notes on some songs). At Ulm they played only one track from the new mini-opera (Mike's Post)...the rest was classic from the who repertoire!!!

Yeah, maybe you had the chance to see them live a lot of times in the past, but I suggest to see them once again...it's always worth it!!!

The Audio recording of this show is one of the best bootlegs, if not one of the best live rock recordings, of all time. A definite must have. The sound quality is breath-taking.
