"AROUND & AROUND" live? + contribution

Hi Group,

Did The Stones play the great Chuck Berry song, "Around And Around" any other times in the 70's outside of the El Mocambo show?

I'd love to hear it another soundboard if it exists. The version Jagger & George Thorogood played in '82 was just so-so in my opinion.

Here's rehearsal from I think 2002 or 2003 that sounds like it was taped from outside the arena...

That version you posted is actually from 99 I believe, When the Wind Blows Over Toronto bootleg. Unfortunately, they didnt play it in concert that year or any tour since 77.

Yes, it's on the When the Wind Blows Over Toronto bootleg, but it's from the rehearsals at the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center, Oakland, Jan. 22, 1999.

Apart from the El Mocambo they played it at Knebworth Fair 1976.

seems more of a BerryRhythmic classic (like Let It Rock or Bye Bye Johnny) than a showcase for a lead player like Taylor

Here it is from Ready Steady Go, 1964, I taped this with a mic in front of the tv, small crowd of about 50 screaming fans, they're all grandparents now (so am I). In the early days of RSG most of the songs were lip-synced to the record but occasionally a band would play live, it was exciting.
