The whole show exists on CDR, not CD, in audience quality,
but the only SB songs are the ones on HandsomeGirls.
6 or 7 songs was released in audience quality on the LP Abandoned In Detroit....very great colour shot on the front, I wish I had that one.

Yeah, Cafaro, BUT the 1978 tour was very strange because RStones varied SO much in their performances from each night. I think drugs/alcohol had something to do with it. The show you saw in Passaic, was the first great concert of the tour.

There were several "small" shows in 78, and about a 1/3 of the shows were stadium shows, or perhaps 1/4.
So it was much much smaller than 81, and fewer in the audience.
Philadelphia, Chicago, Cleveland, Buffalo, New Orleans and Anaheim (2 shows in ANaheim) was the only big ones in 78. 7 shows that is...But the best boots of 78 blows away just about anything....I hope you have heard Handsome Girls. There were other great shows too, but the quality isn't that excellent. Out On Bail rocks though.

tHE 1978 SOME GIRLS TOUR WAS THE ROLLING STONES' RETURN TO RELEVANCE AND GREATNESS...PUNK WAS IN THE AIR AND THE STONES DECIDED TO BECOME THE BEST PUNK BAND IN THE WORLD THAT SUMMER. I WAS IN THE FRONT ROW FOR THE PHILADELPHIA SHOW.I ARRIVED 2 DAYS BEFORE AND JUST CAMPED MYSELF IN FRONT OF THE DOORS.THE NIGHT BEFORE THE CONCERT THERE WERE ALREADY 15-20,000 PEOPLE IN THE PARKING LOTS WAITING FOR THE BREAK OF DAY AND THE DOORS TO OPEN. INCREDIBLE. THE SHOW WAS A HOLY GLORIOUS MESS...THE STONES WERE DANGEROUS AND SLOPPY AND LOUD AND SNOTTY...SHATTERED AND PROUD OF IT!
