in my opinion , vinyl is better in most cases,especially if it was recorded on the analog medium back in the days. dont you like the old, cool artwork and sound of the vinyl boots compared to the stiff so-called remastered cds? but i do like listening to all the great mp3 stuff you guys put out here...beautiful.make every song u sing your favourite tune

Yeah, I used to love vinyl. I played them once only and taped them to save wear and tear. Got my Exile on Main Street out and it jumped - it was the Seventies ultra thin vinyl version with no paper insert, just the shiny paper inner that the disc slipped in and out of.
Admittedly CD can sound a bit 'cold' and 'sterile' sometimes, but at least you know it will probably play every time - when CD format came out I got 'em all (except Rolling Stones #1 - still waiting) on CD
