Wow! A nice little piece of history here. The playing's manic as hell and from the sounds of it, so's the audience. Listening to this makes you wonder if they thought they would last anywhere near as long as they have considering how many other bands from that era disappeared by the end of the 1960s. Makes me wonder how I've managed to last anywhere as long as I have. Thanks for the post.

i have 1 st show too,,,,but the sound ,,is what it is,,,,,,,,,,,,really bad,,
maybe somebody in france ? got a better recordings of these olympia shows 1966.??

I think this version of the second show sound much better - see what you think - also posted one from 1st show - can post if you think better boot source - can't remember the boot these came off - with some digging I can find out - but sure off a torrent = most likely dimeadozen

Musicorama Mixdown was from Dime & was compiled from the best sources including some rebroadcasts, that's why some trax sound so much better than others. This is definitely the definitive (so far) version of these Paris shows so don't put off getting these
