This is a great addition to some of the other early Stones stuff that's been posted. I find the early stuff much more blues and r&b oriented, though, you can hear the change a comin'. I guess it was Brian Jones' deep love of the blues that kept the band grounded in the bluesy sounds in the early years. After hearing Mick and Keith on the Jimmy Rogers All Stars album a few years ago, I wished - and still wish - they'd do a straight up blues album. Of course, Im still hoping to hear them do the Long Black Veil from the Chieftan's album live, but that's me. Anyway, thanks for posting these.

I agree dmay, it seems they have fallen in to a fairly non blues type of song writing groove. With exception of BOMH,they haven't done much in the way of blues lately.
