Mr. Freezer's Remaining Masters
Posted by: BOBM ()

My Stones wish for 2006 is that Mr. Freezer will release one or more of his remaining masters. He has:
New Orleans: 6/1/75 both shows, 7/13/78, and 12/5/81
Jacksonville 8/2/75

Which '72 shows did he record? I think I have 2, Mobile and 1 other. Someone told me he also recorded one of the Houston shows, which don't circulate, and Tuscaloosa, which has an abysmal tape.

Same person said he didn't expect these other Freezer shows to ever circulate.

Mobile and Akron are the only two 1972 shows I am aware of. Mr. Freezer never mentioned any others in the communications I saw.

Here is a list he posted at the Trader´s Den earlier this year:

"Here's a short list of some of the Stones shows I did record.(and I'm doing this from memory. so I don't have all the exact dates at my fingertips, so what?)

Mobile, Tuscaloosa, Houston 72
Baton Rouge 6/1/75 early
Baton Rouge 6/1/75 late
San Antonio 6/3/75
San Antonio 6/4/75
Jacksonville 8/2/75
New Orleans 7/13/78
New Orleans 1981
Houston 1994"

I don´t think he is hoarding his tapes. It seems he´s just not interested in trading them out at the moment.

Holy Shit Lets get him to give up the San Antonio 75 shows as there is not any recording in circulation of these concerts? Anyone know him personally please contact him!

Someone who introduced himself as "Mr Freezer" contacted me once via easytree (former DAD). I have just uploaded VGP's "First Night Stand - An Open Invitation To Sex With The Devil" which contains both Baton Rouge concerts from June 1 1975. This guy was VERY rude. He was absolutely furious because I uploaded that show. I cannot say if he really was Mr Freezer, but he was f..g lunatic fo sure. And if he WAS Mr freezer then I doubt he will ever share his tapes.

I really doubt he will ever let anything else out.

I asked about Houston and Tuscaloosa to Sister Morphine last week and he says those claims are bogus.

How would Sister M know what Freezer supposedly recorded? They aren't working together are they? Freezer hates bootleggers (profiteers not traders), we know that.

he might laugh his ass off but who cares or believes him ??

Until he puts it on the table no-one will take notice.

You sound like you know Mr Freezer. Am I right? How is he like? I'll bet you don't want to meet him in the dark alley winking smiley

What would Sister Morphine know? Those leeches don't have a clue if they don't have it for sale.

Can't really say I know him personally anymore but some friends from high school knew him and he gave us all a ride to an Alice Cooper show in 1990. I had already been taping for a year and a half at that time and had some of his stuff already. He talked a bit about past experiences which I found fascinating and my friends had told me 2nd hand about lots of stuff he had but was in storage.

Yes if he claimed to have some masters then they exist but he has no real reason to let them out. And there are a few other tapers I am aware of out there with great masters you will never hear either. Who cares, enjoy what you have. We already have a lot more than we really should.
