The Last US Tour
After Ronnie Lane left Faces in mid-1973 also Ronnie Wood slowly started to drift away from his beloved band by releasing two solo albums, appearing as a guest musician on a Rolling Stones album (uncredited on It's Only Rock'n Roll), doing sessions for their next one (Black And Blue) and most notably joining the Stones in spring 1975 for their big US tour which went until August 8, 1975. Just a few days later Ronnie was already rehearsing with the Faces again for what became their last US tour and their last regular tour ever. This last tour also had a first: Jesse Ed Davis (ex-Taj Mahal and renowned session guitarist) joined the band as a second guitar player. Officially because Rod wanted to recreate his Atlantic Crossing sound…
Thanks to the ones who shared their recordings, in particular to nzb, also for his advice and inspiration.

This recording is coming from a 6-min. private color super 8-film.
These are only snippets and will be interesting only for the die hard completists.
01 – 3 snippets from the intro ‘The Stripper’ (David Rose And His Orchestra)
02 – 3 snippets from MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE
03 – 4 snippets from IT’S ALL OVER NOW
04 – 2 snippets from MISS JUDY’S FARM
05 – a snippet from SWEET LITTLE ROCK ‘N’ ROLLER
Part II: unknown date and location
On two bootlegs (with Boston and Lakeland recordings) 'Stay With Me' and 'Twistin' The Night Away' were added at the end as possibly coming from Hallandale. Rod says 'It's Friday Night': but the 18 October 1975 was a Saturday: so, it’s probably not from Hallandale Beach! I checked these titles: they do not come from any other shows from the series or from the tour in spring 1975.
We decided to add it here, it will give some more interest to the very short Chicago recording (… which was also on a Friday).
06 – STAY WITH ME
07 – TWISTIN’ THE NIGHT AWAY [+ reprise #1]
08 – TWISTIN’ THE NIGHT AWAY [reprise #2]
