I have chosen my remasterd, to 'Sbalde' recording?
Drgiggles1 recording is a bit too slow.

I only work with wmv !

DrGiggles recording is slow? lol. The LittleTendies Jazzfest source was not WMV. It was distributed as Flac format. WMV is video and you are scraping the audio. Is the audio lossless or lossy and upsampled to Wav format? None of this makes any sense on a technical level. If folks want to listen to this fine, but calling this quality work is misinformation.

No. If I release this two things will happen. Rskinno will remasterbate all over it and it will be available for sale in Japan in an hour. There are multiple tapers who are not sharing publicly for these two reasons.

And this makes me very sad. I´m a fan since 1967.

hi Daspyknows - I share the same opinion of wupperstein - I download all concerts for my personal pleasure - I probably have close to 2000 concerts recorded plus some 1000 between studio and radio shows -

ProfessorWolf asked nicely for this so I shared it. In past tours I have been told to just deal with it. Same with other tapers who don't appreciate his "work". I made the recordings and can share with whom I want and how I want. If my and other tapers wishes were respected recordings would be shared. Rskinno disrespects tapers with what and how he does it. If that is his decision then then the best sources stay out of the public. The Jazzfest source by "LittleTendies" was a test. In 24 hours after posting it was skinnoed and put up for sale. There are at least 6 tapers out there who are not posting their masters. I am just more public on here so I am taking the flack.

I've listened to countless recordings by Daspyknows over the years, which he kindly shared publically. He's one of the tapers who'd happily share, if it wasn't for the bootleg labels making money off his work and the remaster crowd that doesn't want to respect the request to not touch the recording.

He's certainly not the only one. We've missed out on several excellent audience and IEM recordings for this reason over the past few years. Often these same tapers still upload recordings of other artists. It's unfortunately a reflection of our community that they don't do so with their Stones recordings anymore.

Yep that's pretty sad but rskinno has been hopeless and clueless for years, he just does not seem to understand anything he's told, at times it's hard to believe he's a real person/fan and not someone trolling.

I'm not too bothered by people messing around with my recordings or even hearing me telling my daughter that FTC was "wonderful" on a Japanese bootleg but I can understand that it would make other people upset and only want to share with people they trust.

Music is like a virus. When you least expect it, it shows up at your house, sometimes without knowing its origin. There are some viruses that are well stored in the laboratory.
When it comes to music, I follow the old saying: "Take it or leave it".

I download every source availabe (like most people I guess) and then listen to them all and keep the best. So far, Rskinno's have proved to be the best available except Houston where I preferred CaptainAcid's.

The Little tendies (don't touch me) New Orleans show was much improved by rsk's efforts. The original was dull and muffled compared to rsk's. (I've already said I didn't agree with him going against the tapers's wishes, nevertheless, he did improve it.....(imo...

Given that, I'm starting to think rsk is being stalked and bullied on this forum.

I always look forward to the gigs that are shared here, whether audio or video. I would be very happy if there were more great recordings. As I'm not that good at technology, I'm also really looking forward to the covers of the DVDs and CDs, especially the very nice ones by Jürgen. I really like Rskinno's work and am convinced that the bootlayers from Japan don't have to rely on him. I think they always find ways and means for their business. Please keep going. Well Daspyknows, I have the strange feeling you misunderstood me, and I hope you are not "angry" on me. (nice song anyway). I am glad with your recordings, and appreciate your sharings. They are high quality. I only play these at home.And I also respect your meaning. So I hope you will be so kind to share sometimes to me. Thanks in advance.

The drGiggles recording is remarkably good considered where it was recorded. It sounds pretty much exactly as it did from the 300s (I was in 339). The guitars and vocals hit when they need too, which is good enough for me. I’ve been listening to it nonstop and can’t hear how it can be improved upon.
