This is a series dedicated to Keith Richards’ shows with The X-pensive Winos in the US, Argentina and Canada in late 1992 and early 1993.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows and who shared them and to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support ... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.

The show was aired in parts on US radio (see Vol. 17b).
The whole show was also professionally filmed by Japanese TV and broadcast on the 24 April 1993. It appears on a DVD published by Jointrip and on “Rock N’ Roll Babylon” (DGCD 021-2), on ‘Boston’93” and on “Touring America” (BKCD 038/39) which are all identical and with a limited spectrum (lossy). The better spectrum (lossless) came from Jointrip’s DVD - that’s what you will find here.
The band is really at the top, the only pity is that Bobby Keys is too low in the mix!!! (when the soundcheck showed the importance of his participation).
Note that the banters between the tracks are often shortened: I decided to separate the tracks on these cuts and not, as usually, with the start of the songs.

A curiosity: a few years ago I reworked the July 19, 1972 Stones show in Boston and I titled it “Baaking At Baastan” (thanks Heiloobaas) because of a guy who barked throughout the show! And in this 1993 KR show there is also a spectator who barks throughout the show. I wonder if it's the same person or if it's a local habit.

Best laugh I had today. I guess I'll have to listen, but does he only bark at the good parts? That might be tolerable. Is it like a coyote's howl or like a "woof woof"?
