Is this the same version as on this RSD release? Very interesting! Thanks again.

Afaik, all relases including the RSD release, have the same versions of Run Rudolph Run / The Harder They Come from the 1978 single.
The 2018 RSD release (red vinyl) and the 2021 RSD re-release (red/black splattered vinyl) are remixed by Steve Jordan, but I couldn't hear any differences. The fading out of THTC (2018/2021) starts a little bit later than my 1978 7", that's all imo.

Funny enough, there is a promo single of Run Rudolph Run, one side labled as mono, the other as stereo. All releases are the same mono versions at the end, even the stereo promo.

What I've uploaded is the only circulating outtake of THTC and very different from the official releases.

Included on this "Run Rudolph Run/Harder They Come" LP are 4 bonus tracks, including an early version of "Harder They Come" featuring Mick Jagger. There is also so extra/different lead guitar from Keith.

Keith's version of "The Harder They Come" is fantastic. "Run Rudolph Run" is a Rock and Roll Christmas Classic! Keith performs it best!

Run Rudolph Run

Out of all the reindeers you know you are the mastermind
Run, run Rudolph, Randolph ain't too far behind
Run, run Rudolph, Santa's gotta make it to town
Santa, make him hurry, tell him he can take the freeway down
Run, run Rudolph 'cause I'm reelin' like a merry-go-round
Said Santa to a boy child, "What have you been longin' for?"
"All I want for Christmas is a rock 'n' roll 'lectric guitar"
And then away went Rudolph whizzin' like a shootin' star
Run, run Rudolph, Santa's has to make it in town
Santa, make him hurry, tell him he can take the freeway down
Run, run Rudolph, reelin' like a merry-go-round
Run, run Rudolph, Santa's gotta make it to town
Santa, make him hurry, tell him he can take the freeway down
Run, run Rudolph, I'm reelin' like a merry-go-round
Said Santa to a girl child, "What would please you most to get?"
"A little baby doll that can cry, sleep, drink and wet"
And then away went Rudolph, whizzin' like a Saber jet
Run, run Rudolph, Santa's gotta make it to town
Santa, make him hurry, tell him he can take the freeway down
Run, run Rudolph I'm reelin' like a merry-go-round

This 30th Anniversary issue must be an unofficial release.
