Mick TAYLOR
Laguna beach
September 1993*
FP 134
This project was initiated by Glimmerman's upload that contains:
- A recording from an acoustic set Mick Taylor did in the afternoon in a record store
(‘Discovery Gallery Of Music’). This recording is different from the one that already circulates.
- Two tracks coming from the evening show in the Marine Room Tavern where Mick Taylor was backed by the local band The Missiles Of October.
* Note that the date for these shows in Laguna Beach is not confirmed.
Thanks to Glimmerman for these new recordings and also to nzb for his advice.

Some details about my reworkings:
Glimmerman’s recording is now declicked and amplified and the transition between both tracks from the electric set is reworked.
The acoustic set already circulated, coming from another source that was published as ‘The Blues Alone – Vol 02’ (Dirty Pig – DP 002).
On both recordings the tracks were edited but not in the same place: I used the Dirty Pig (=DP) version to complete Glimmerman’s recording and to have the most complete result.
The DP version had to be accelerated by +1,8% to be in synch with Glimmerman’s recording.
Doing matrixes to find the differences between both recordings, I appreciated the result and think that others might like them too: so I decided to present them here as a bonus CD.
I did also a merge version with the blues instrumental reworked in the FP 125 (that came from a YouTube video, see the FP 125 info).
CD n°2: merged versions:
01 – unknown #1 (Glimmerman/DP)
02 – FED UP WITH THE BLUES (Glimmerman/DP)
03 – unknown #2 (Glimmerman/DP)
04 – blues instrumental (Glimmerman/DP)
05 – BLIND WILLIE MCTELL (Glimmerman/DP)
06 – SEPARATELY (Glimmerman/DP)
07 – YOU GOTTA MOVE (Glimmerman/DP)
08 – blues instrumental (Glimmerman/FP125)
