This is a series dedicated to Mick Taylor’s shows with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers in May and June 1982 when they toured California and the US East Coast.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows and who shared them and to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support ... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.

For this show we have two versions.
The one that I already reworked in 2016 and posted at IORR (see the accompanying doc-file) was interesting because it had the correct speed. But was in mono with a muddy sound and missed ‘All Day, All Night’.
The second one sent by nzb is also interesting because it has a better stereo sound, has a more complete intro, contains ‘All Day, All Night’ but misses ‘ The Dark Side Of Midnight’ and the end of ‘Lookin’ For Willie’. Other problem, the speed had to be corrected (differently on both cd-rs!)
I decided to do a mix of both shows to get a complete recording.
On nzb’s version I equilibrated the channels, I slightly amplified the recording, deleted microgaps between the tracks and I reworked the transitions between the tracks that now start with the song.
I used a 6 second mono patch to repair the two defaults on ‘You Never Can Be Trusted’ from 3’11 until 3’17.
I used a 1’21 patch coming from my old version to complete ‘Lookin’ For Willie’ and the biggest part of ‘The Dark Side Of Midnight’.
Note that until ‘Lookin’ For Willie’ the recording had to be decelerated by -4,5% and from this point onwards it had to be accelerated by +1,9%.
