POST: Mick TAYLOR with Mayall's BB - Springtime 1982 - Vol 02 - 1982.06.06 - CLEVELAND
Mick Taylor
with Mayall’s Bluesbreakers
in springtime 1982
This is a series dedicated to Mick Taylor’s shows with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers in May and June 1982 when they toured California and the US East Coast.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows and who shared them and to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support ... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.
Line-up: MT (gtr; some keyb)/John Mayall (voc, keyb, harm, gtr)/John McVie (bass)/Colin Allen (dr)

Our versions are coming from the same recording, all deteriorated by diginoises at the end of the first CD-r. Luckily nzb’s recording was an exception, therefore it has been used here.
I amplified the sound, deleted microgaps between the tracks, equilibrated the channels and phased them and I reworked the transitions between the tracks that now start with the song.
I also deleted some defaults: in ‘An Eye For An Eye’ at 3’03, in ‘My Time After Awhile’, (because the left channel was altered, I used a 5 second patch at 6’34).
‘Rock It In The Pocket’ has a break after 36 seconds, probably because of a necessary tape flip while recording, and restarts only for the last seconds. I decided to do the separation between the 2 cd-rs at this point.
