This is a series dedicated to Mick Taylor’s shows with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers in May and June 1982 when they toured California and the US Est Coast.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows and who shared them and to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support ... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.

A few years ago (2016) I had already offered a reworked version of this concert. It was quite high-pitched and incomplete (the band introduction and the passages between the songs were missing).
Nzb sent me his version, coming from the same source, more complete but also more hissy.
For this series I did two versions:
Vol 01a: is the new reworked nzb version.
Vol 01b: is the old version but improved and completed with patches from version 01a.

This new version had to be decelerated by -6%. It’s also declicked, channel equilibrated and I used a treble reduction to try to reduce the hiss and I amplified the sound.
