POST: October 20, 2023: ‘Totémic’ special edition of France Inter (French radio) with Mick JAGGER invited and dedicated to the Stones (1h45)

A post that could interest French speakers or those who want to improve their French. (everything is in French… except the music grinning smiley

This is a special issue of France Inter (French radio): ‘Totémic’ presented by Rebecca Manzoni for the occasion of the release of the new album.
1st part: Mick Jagger interview (all in French!) around 25 minutes
2nd part: ‘Les Stones et nous’: celebrities (Catherine Ringer, Louis Bertignac…) and anonymous people who testify to the importance that the Stones had for them.
Here also a short video extract that shows how the interview looked like (sent by nzb and coming from Instagram).

French guitarist Louis Bertignac tells how he more or less guided Ronnie into the writing of the Whip solo.

He also reveals that 3/4 years earlier he sent Mick a letter offering to take Taylor’s vacant position in the band. Ah the boldness of young people... grinning smiley
