Did the original San Deigo '98 radio broadcast disc have sound issues?

Did we ever get a perfect recording of this show? Recomendations?

Not really, depended on how you recorded it and how your radio reception was. There are also complete radio show broadcasts existing: on KGB Radio San Diego and Westwood One Show #98-06. Perfect sound.

Yes, see above. VGP-170 (second edition without bonus tracks is from the KGB Radio San Diego)

Is there someone Out there who has a copy.

there were no real sound issues but i remember the sound being somewhat dull and muddy.
someone shared an (apparently different) broadcast version here few years ago but those were only mp3 files.

@ wiredallnight : is the VGP-170 really that good ? i have the Dandellion version may be you have that one as well and can compare

VGP has released 2 versions. The first one was recorded from the radio and is not so good. And it has 3 audience bonus tracks. Then they released a new version which was taken from the KGB Radio San Diego radio show and this is remarkably better. It has no bonus tracks anymore.
I don't have the Dandelion, so I can't compare. Edit: According to my notifications, the Dandelion is like the 1st VGP version, so not perfect.
