POST: Bill WYMAN's Rhythm Kings feat. G. BROOKER 2001 North America Tour - Volume 04 - 10/08/01 NEW YORK CITY ( lossless)
BILL WYMAN’S RHYTHM KINGS
featuring
GARY BROOKER
3rd August - 24th August 2001 - North America Tour
Bill’ Wyman’s Rhythm Kings shows featuring Gary Brooker in the US and Canada in 2001.
This series is dedicated to the late great Gary Brooker (29/05/45 - 19/02/22) and the ‘QE2’ which, so we assumed, must have brought BW and GB over because of their mutual fear of flying. In between time we learned (through BW's diaries) that at least Bill took a Virgin flight from Heathrow to get over to New York City on August 2, but we still don't know how Gary Brooker came to the US and how both of them went back. So good ole QE2 is still a possibility.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows and who shared them and to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support ... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.
Line-up: BW (bass)/Gary Brooker (keyb, voc)/Georgie Fame (keyb, voc)/Terry Taylor (gtr, bvoc)/Martin Taylor (gtr)/Albert Lee (gtr, voc)/Graham Broad (dr)/Beverley Skeete (voc)/Janice Hoyt (voc)/Frank Mead (sax, perc)/Nick Payn (sax, flute, harm)

A very good and lossless recording.
Our versions were coming from the same source but mine had a better transfer and the 2
seconds gap between the tracks were partially deleted.
On all versions the left channel was a little in advance (0,010s) - channels and sound are now re-equilibrated. I reworked the transitions between the tracks that now start with the song.
As usual all the infos are taken from The Complete Works Of The Rolling Stones database by Nico Zentgraf: [
