MICK TAYLOR with the
JOHN MAYALL’S BLUESBREAKERS.
The 1984 U.S. tours
This is a series dedicated to Mick Taylor’s shows with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers in the US in 1984.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows and who shared them and to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support ... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.

For this show we have two sources:
Source #1: had a good sound but it’s incomplete (the end of ‘Room To Move’ and ‘Rockin’…’ are missing), my version had covers coming from my great friend Mr. No.
Source #2 : the sound is not as good but it’s complete.
Here I chose to do a mix to get the more complete recording with the better sound: I used source #1 with exception for the last tracks.
Source #2 had to be accelerated by 1,4% to be synchronized with source #1. It has been used from 6’33 in ‘Room To Move’ until the end.
I reworked the transitions between the tracks that now start with the song and I upgraded the beginning and the end for the cd-r.
The pix used for the front covers are coming from the 13th April 1984 in Houston and can be found on: [www.rockinhouston.com
As usual all the infos are taken from The Mick Taylor Complete Works Database by Nico Zentgraf: [www.nzentgraf.de
