Would be helpful if you list the name of the database software you have been using.

.....Q&A... !!
"Q&A was a database and word processing software program for IBM PC-compatible computers published by Symantec and partners from 1985 to 1998." - Wikipedia.
"Sesame Database Manager by Lantica Software is compatible with Symantec Q&A. Q&A users will find that Sesame uses many of the same keystrokes, the same search syntax, and almost the same programming syntax as used in a Q&A database. Sesame can also translate Q&A databases" - [www.Lantica.com] .

It's not there and this site is rather a Tools collection.
The original question was: "somebody out there has an updated version running on Windows 7 or 10" ?

You can run your original DOS-version via the DOSBox-Emulator under Windows 10/11 - [en.Wikipedia.org] .
"I have been using Q&A 4.0 under DOSBox for years. It seems to run flawlessly under DOSBox 0.72, 0.73, and 0.74. I have a fairly critical database that I have been updating with this combination, and I've never had a problem with it." - [www.DOSBox.com] .
You can also try the vDos-Emulator - [www.vDos.info] .

Yes, but it's maybe better then to get local help from someone else if you're not familiar with IT.......
Export the Q&A data to the new DB-Software....

To find a new DB-Software capeable of importing all the hundreds Rolling Stones files/details correctly from the old Q&A databse is close to impossible

There's a much better site: [Archive.org] - they have not only websites stored, but also books, movies, software, music, etc. There's also the DOS-version of Symantec Q&A v4.00 - [Archive.org] .

The version 4.0 was also available for Windows:
Perhaps the Windows-version of Q&A 4.0 runs better via a Virtual Machine.

I've found the Windows-version 4.0 in my archive, but it's in German and Symantec changed even the product-name to German - from Q&A into F&A (Frage&Antwort = Question&Answer).
