Mick TAYLOR
With the James HARMAN Band

This is a series related to Mick TAYLOR shows with The James Harman Band in 1991 and it’s dedicated to the late great James Harman (June 08, 1946 - May 23, 2021).
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows, to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.

PISTOIA
06th July 1991 – Bluesin’ Festival

Volume 04a
(lossless version)

6th July 1991: JAMES HARMAN BAND. Pistoia, Italy, Piazza Del Duomo, 'Bluesin' Festival'
Line-up: MT (gtr, voc)/James Harman (voc, harm)/Joel Foy (gtr)/Jeff Turmes (bass)/Steve Mugalian (dr).

This show is a little short ... but that's because the show was played as part of a festival!
We have two sources for this show: an audio recording with defects but lossless and also
excerpts from two videos that were transmitted by Italian television: the sound is much better here, but of lossy quality and therefore will only be uploaded on IORR as a Volume 04b.

01 – intro
02 – It’s All Right Now
03 – I Declare
04 – Mad About Something
05 – Is It Yes? (part 1 - without Mick Taylor)
06 – Mick Taylor introduction
07 – Is It Yes? (part 2 - with Mick Taylor)
08 – Red House/Going Down Slow
09 – Worried About My Baby

This recording had to be accelerated by +2,2% to be in synch with the videos.
I equilibrated the channels (+5% to the left channel) and I deleted defaults and amplified the sound. Note that “Red House/Going Down Slow” is incomplete.
As usual all the infos are taken from The Mick Taylor Complete Works Database by Nico Zentgraf: [www.nzentgraf.de]
