I recently got hold of an old B&W documentary of the stones touring Australia in 1973 which included 2 incomplete performances of Brown Sugar and Bitch live in Melbourne but overdubbed with the respective studio tracks (which made them of interest only). Since then I have removed the studio tracks and synced in the audio from the Perth concert (Happy Birthday Nicky Hopkins) and it just rocks! They line up 99% and Keith is really going for it. If anyone is interested I would love to trade for other CD's/DVD's from the Mick Taylor years. I would like in particular to get hold of footage from the Auckland concert which apparently exists (Feb 11, 1973) I was at that concert and saw a crew member filming from the side of the stage.
"Thank you very much indeed, thank you very kindly"
Hei! I'm a big fan of the Taylor era. My collection isn't the biggest, but if your interested I'll send you my list...Can't help you with any footage though. Here's my E-mail address.
Swayed - yes I have the Auckland footage if you are keen for a trade ? It is only 5 minutes I think - taken from Mick Taylor's side of the stage - nothing to get you a hard-on But still cool. It has some pretty cool fillers....
