O.T.:- Anyone have the David Bowie- I'm Only Dancing - Soul Tour 74' ?

Did anyone pick up the David Bowie- I'm Only Dancing - Soul Tour 74'Vinyl 2 LP set.This was sold on record store day in the UK last week. I was too late when I got to my Local Store they had sold out.

If anyone has a spare copy they want to sell or Upload my email is shown. I read it may be released on September 5th as a regular release.If anyone can confirm that may be true I would be interested. Thanks for viewing.thumbs up

Record Store Day in the UK is next Saturday - 29 August. I'm Only Dancing is listed as being released then - I think you may have been a week early!

It's a great release Erik. My pressing is excellent (listened to 1st LP only so far)
Musically a great show great arrangements for the songs, Bowie's voice is a bit hoarse but really happy with this. Great release for the fans. Sound is very good I think, the digital version is NOT brickwalled too. So the cd is also a good option.

Yes truely the best release since Dylans 1975 box for me.
Strange that it took years for me to appreciate the 1974 Bowie tours so much. I kept it to 1976, 1978 and the mid 90s.
I thought it was a little to cocaine-gay for my taste. Now it's the tour I appreciate the most. Well....1976 and 1995 is better, but 1974 is more interesting. It's like music coming from a different world.

BTW, the brickwalling ruined Nassau 1976 releases. But I did purchase that HUGE deluxe box, and the vinyls are much better than the CD. Nice that this 1974 release is not brickwalled. Rolling Stones could learn a lot from Bowie and Dylan releases in that retrospect.
