kinda O/T, (didn't wanna start a new thread)...never heard these before:
Keith Richards, Scotty Moore, Levon Helm, D. J. Fontana & The Band: Deuce & A Quarter"Keith talks about how great this session was in his new book! Recorded at Levon Helm's home in Woodstock, NY July 5-7, 1996 with Scotty Moore and D. J. Fontana joined by Garth Hudson, Levon, Rick Danko of The Band and many friends and family, (too many). Keith brought along his dad, Bert, so he could meet the man who made his son want to play the guitar - Scotty Moore. Stan Lynch, drummer of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, was on hand to keep the peace, except with Garth, and for producing the music. Someday the film will be completed of the making of the great, Grammy-nominated CD All the King's Men but for now I have the music and can show these stills which were shot for promotional use..."
Ron Wood, Jeff Beck, Scotty Moore & D. J. Fontana "Unsung Heroes""This is from the final session for the Grammy-nominated CD, "All the King's Men." Ron Wood and his then wife, Jo, hosted us and a film crew for four days of sheer bliss, music and quite a lot of imbibing - some more than others. This song was written on the spot from a lick Scotty was fooling around with that Jeff picked up on. Ronnie wrote the lyrics in 20 minutes and we were on our way to having a great closing track. I have interspersed photos from the Blue Moon Boys archives with session shots. All photographs are used for promotional purposes only!"
