Could anyone point me in the direction of the best quality version of the 1970 Paris soundboard/radio broadcast? I see a lot of different recordings/dates. Was the radio broadcast on the 22nd, 23rd or 24th? Which recording sounds the best? Thank you very much for the help. Any 1970 Stones will be cool!
I've read that there was more then one show recorded, but only on show was broadcast? Could anyone add any better information to this? I'm sure this is old news, but thank you all for helping out a new member!
There were 2 shows broadcasted, the September 22 show (permanently interrupted by a terrible French radio speaker, on "Paris Affair" VGP-127) and the September 23 show (no radio speaker but only good soundboard quality, on "Some Like It Hot" VGP-044)

All three shows were recorded by the band using the brand new Mobile studio. Alas one recording deck inside the truck was defective so the tapes are apparently unusable (source : Glyn Johns biography). Beside that, there is the "Europe 1" radio broadcast of the 1st night and a raw sb tape of the 2nd gig (23/9/70).
I've found two Paris 1970 recordings. Before they start Midnight Rambler, on one they dedicate the song to Jimi Hendrix, on the second they do not. I'm guessing that the Hendrix dedication was from the first show on the 22nd. What do all of you experts think? Thanks again for all of the great help!
