show notes: when you're following Gov't Mule and you hear the Stones are playing LA on Halloween, you just gotta make sure you go. I really did want to catch all of Sheryl Crow's set, but LA traffic was a bitch. and there was a lady behind me I had to talk to a bit to mitigate her ruining the Stones recording (she didn't)....great taping seats from my scalper buddy Graham translate into what you hear here, and I'm pretty damn happy with the results (much better than Anaheim a few nights later, that show is ruined by the crowd). see if you agree.

he's no beast of burden, but his name is Dennis. if you don't say thanks, then you can't always get what you want. but that don't (sic) mean that there's no more brown sugar in the pipeline.....so be sure to stay tuned!!!

---ballsdeep OUT!!!

Show Notes:
This was one of many shows scheduled at the end of '02, which included 2 more Stones shows (Anaheim and Tacoma), 2 Guns N' Roses shows (Tacoma and the aborted Vancouver show), and 6 Gov't Mule shows (Seattle thru Scottsdale, AZ). My scalper buddy knows what I need when it comes to taping, and got me a good seat near, just behind, but still in line with the PA on Keith's side. I did chat with a lady behind me a few times, but rarely if ever during the music playing. And the music came out mighty fine indeed. Let your ears be the judge.

The debt of gratitude just grows for Mr. Orr...he seems to have the upload thing down...which is a GOOD thing. Because there's a lot of stuff sitting here that has never seen the light of day (at least source-wise). So if you like what we do, stay tuned, as there is MUCH more to come.

---ballsdeep OUT!

Mastering Notes:
- Tape flip during applause after "Rip This Joint" - seamlessly spliced, no music lost.
- Tape flip during applause after "Honky Tonk Women" - seamlessly spliced, no music lost.
- The recorder was stopped during the "Encore Break" applause, and restarted at the start of "Jumping Jack Flash". It seems like the first second or two of the song is missing.

Enjoy!
Hervé

And many thanks to the taper and the uploader!!!

Merci!
Imho the best shows of the 2002-03 tour took place in arenas, not clubs.
If you saw them in a 15-20K venue you witnessed the band at its finest.

Let me be pedantic for a minute... >grinning smiley<

This one was taped with an analog device (a Walkman basically) and it's subjected to abnormalities associated with anolog devices.
In short : it runs too fast. -1,8% of speeed correction thru Audacity does the trick

Could this please be re-posted? Also is there a speed corrected version already available as dcba suggests to do on this one? Either way I would enjoy this if posted. Thank you very much.
