This boot is an 'oldie but goodie' as they say. I thought I'd share it.

Dan suggested it for me to get the dialog before Carol from Madison Square Garden for a Get Yer Yayas project.

Cheers!

Many people say this is from the Scorpio label even though it has Gold Standard on it.

Does anyone have any info on the Scorpio connection?

Like a lot of bootleggers, Scorpio diversified between different labels either to avoid the fact that they could be traced back to a source (Separating the 'Scorpio' disks from the 'Gold Standard' covers), to ensure the acts that they were releasing could be compartmentalised on to different labels or just give an excuse for the collector to collect anything on a certain label. As there seemed to be a few 'Scorpio' tributes (Like there are TMOQ's, etc ..), we can only guess that they also made the choice to distance themselves from inferior copycats.
