Hello friends, i was looking for the video of the MSG concert of 16-1-2003, i know is on Three Flicks ( No Label 2 DVD set) or in Two Flicks ( Jointrip 4 DVD set), but i can't find in Filefactory. Someone can post ? Thanks very mutch.

One interesting thing about the MSG 16-1-2003 concert taping: the show was presented live on cable, but for future network showings was re-edited, with different shot choices. Frankly, the shot choices and editing juxtapositions made on the fly by the live feed director were better than those in the re-edit. Small differences, but a noticeable effect overall.

This happens often with network-filmed concerts and other events (including sports re-broadcasts, such as the Olympics), and usually the first decisions capture the shows best. Re-edits can sometimes drop material or add banners and crawls, for "a better presentation." Always make a live capture off cable, and save those recordings.

EDIT: I was referring to the 18-1-2003 show, which was the actual HBO live broadcast. I'm sure some shots from Pittsburgh 10-1-2003, which I attended, were used as pickups for the MSG re-edit broadcasts. A number of handheld and dolly-crane cameras in operation, and the same stage costumes were worn.

Is MSG 16/1/2003 on Two Flicks (Jointrip 4 DVD set) from better source quality than on Three Flicks? Or is the same source used on both sets?

Can' t say at all, because I do have only the Three Flicks DVDs.
