Recorded for a TV show in Tokyo, Japan, Asakusa Studio, 18th September 1991 and broadcasted on 15th November: Japanese TV (JS ‘Wowow’-special: “From One Charlie…”.
Line-up: CW (dr)/Peter King (sax)/Gerard Presencer (tp)/David Green (bass)/Brian Lemon (p)/Bernard Fowler (narrator)/& string section 'Trybeat' (on 'Terra De Pajaro' and 'Going, Going, Going, Gone')
For this TV show we had two recordings. The first one is coming from a DVD. The sound is good but with a big rumble and saturation particularly in the narration segments.
The second tape is not saturated but the sound is muddy.
I decided to keep both and made a 2 cd-r’s version.

I ripped the DVD, edited the tracks and narration segments. I deleted some noises in the narration parts.

Here I chose to keep only the “From One Charlie”-show.
I added a little more treble, duplicated the channels and created a fake stereo effect. And I deleted a lot of little noises. I like the final result very much and I hope others will like it too!
